Developing Country Awards

The top (3) abstracts submitted by investigators from Developing countries will be awarded travel support of $3000 each. Please find the definition for a developing country (DC) below.

Lifetime Achievement Awards

Two (2) individuals will be awarded a lifetime achievement award, as follows: 

  • (1) for clinical/translational
  • (1) for basic discoveries

A request for nominations will be sent by the ANR Steering committee.

Definitions

(YI) – Young Investigators: Are those that are students, MD residents, MD fellows, post-doctoral PhD scholars less than 5 years from doctoral degree, and junior faculty prior to appointment to a rank of assistant professor (or institutional equivalent).

(DC) – A developing country, also called a less developed country or an underdeveloped country, is a nation or a sovereign state with a less developed industrial base and a low Human Development Index (HDI) relative to other countries.For further information please, click here.
